As a teacher, Ms. McIntosh uses a student-centered, research based approach to guide her in utilizing her knowledge of education to positively impact students and prepare them for academic, global, spiritual, and lifelong success. Being a lifelong learner herself, Ms. McIntosh seeks learning opportunities and challenges as she continues to grow every day professionally and personally.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. McIntosh is very involved with her church, Friendship Church Denton. She is enthusiastic about meeting and learning about cultures (and animals!) through traveling. When she’s at home, she usually has a craft project, home project, or new hobby to learn. Ms. McIntosh has lived in 7 different states and has had an opportunity to fall in love with outdoor sports such as hiking, skiing, snorkeling, surfing, and mountain biking. While she will absolutely take any opportunity to go swimming, Ms. McIntosh has a high affinity for a good book and a cozy night in playing board games with friends.
