Enrichment Courses

To grow the whole student, we offer courses that teach skills outside of traditional academics. Read on to see what will be offered this year!

Enrichment courses are an exciting way for your student to be exposed to and learn new skills, meet new friends, and discover passions they may have never experienced!

Who:

Friendship Scholar’s Academy is offering secular enrichment classes for any and all students ages 5-14!

Where & When:

These drop-off and pick-up classes are held Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm at:

How:

After reviewing this year’s classes below, click the sign-up button to reserve your spot. Spaces are limited, but a wait list will be made available. Enrolled FSA students will receive guaranteed spots in these courses upon their signing up.

We do require that your student sign up for all 4 sessions, but if spaces are made available and you are on the waitlist, you will be offered a spot at a prorated amount.

The Enrichment Course Package Fee covers the entire year (all 4 sessions) and includes all supplies and materials:

  • $800 for FSA enrolled students.

  • $1,000 for non-FSA students.

Enrichment for the 2025-2026 School Year

  • Session 1: Sept. 3-Oct. 22

    Needlepoint/ Cross-Stitch: This 8-week session will teach students the art of needlepoint with the opportunity to cross-stitch! We will spend time learning the basic techniques, following pre-made patterns, adding embellishments, and finishing off our projects with backing and boarders. This course will cumulate with your student designing their own pattern and creating it!

  • Session 2: Nov. 5- Dec. 17

    Intro to French: Bonjour! This 6-week session will introduce students to the French language. They will learn the French alphabet, counting to 20, basic greetings and farewells, along with simple present-tense sentences.

    Your students will be exposed to speaking, listening, reading, and writing French throughout the course!

  • Session 3: Jan. 7- Feb. 25

    Speech: This 8-week session will boost your student’s speaking skills! This course will start with having basic conversations when meeting new people to giving both a persuasive and informational speech. We ask that parents make themselves available February 25th for the presentation of students’ final speeches.

  • Session 4: March 4-May 13

    Gardening: In this 9-week session, your students will experience growth in a whole new way…plants! Students will learn basic needs of plants, how to start seeds, replant established sprouts, how to recognize the signs of possible problems in the garden, and when to harvest. At the end of the session, students will get to take home 3 plants to continue to grow and harvest.
